Westside Homeless Partnership Website
Other Achievements and Outcomes
- We conducted five educational forums for our families.
- We sent 26 children from our families to a one-week camp, providing these children stuck between homelessness and self-sufficiency a chance to experience camp and a little innocence of childhood.
- We have just launched our newest addition to ending homelessness for families with a program designed specifically for the teenagers in our client families. We will be working intensely with them on self-esteem issues, boundaries and commitment to their own lives to ensure that the cycle of poverty and homelessness is not generational. Our new teen program is called “You Rock”.
- We have collaborated with Memorial Assistance Ministries and Family Services, Inc. to bring a certified female, Spanish speaking social worker to office in our building and be available for counseling to our clients for 2 1/2 days per week. This will provide our clients east access to much needed emergency and long-term counseling.
- We successfully completed an audit by the state as well as our internal audit, both with no findings.
- Administrative Costs: 12 %
